03. “Smile and Wave.” Three put-upon husbands plan the perfect vacation in Mexico without their wives finding out.
04. “Needlebaum.” A university professor going through a political awakening and existential crisis, embarks on a road trip to his pupils’ reunion party to ask their forgiveness for all the crap he taught them.
05. “Gag.” As part of his community service, a misanthropic stand-up is forced to mentor an eager young protege, who then makes it big after stealing his jokes.
06. “Good Time Girl.” An insecure guy hung up on his girlfriend’s sexual past, orders a pill from a mysterious company designed to unsee what he’s seen from snooping through her phone.
07. “Preppers.” Sheldon and Olive—two New Yorkers work-obsessed social media addicts—are sent by their parents on a digital detox in the wilderness, only for a freak weather event to force them to shelter with an encampment of preppers.
08. “This Late Century.” A struggling author rents a quiet apartment in upstate New York to try and shake off his writer’s block, only to discover a brilliant unpublished novel by the owner’s late mother.
